Indianapolis Kroger Members,
We came into today’s bargaining session prepared to discuss our latest proposals as well as the issues we’ve been hearing from members in the stores and from the feedback survey, but Kroger continues to drag its feet at the table.
To be clear, this is unacceptable. Members have now twice voted down Kroger’s proposals and instead of the company spending every session since then working with us toward a better deal, not enough movement has been made.
Before our next bargaining session on August 13th, please join us for an Indianapolis Kroger Member Zoom Town Hall:
Click here to RSVP for the Indianapolis Kroger Member Zoom Town Hall on Monday, August 11th at 5pm
We’ll be answering some of the most commonly asked questions from the member feedback survey, providing more details on the status of bargaining, and discussing next steps for securing a strong contract.
In order to ensure that we can accommodate all Indianapolis Kroger members, we ask that you please RSVP by Sunday, August 10th at 10pm.
Thank you for your continued engagement. Our union’s true power comes from members standing up, speaking out, and making it clear that they are ready to take action for what they deserve.
In solidarity,
Tracy Bartak
President, UFCW Local 700
