On Friday, UFCW Local 700 members approved a new three year contract with Kroger which covers members working in South Bend area stores.
UFCW Local 700 President Tracy Bartak said the new contract, which was approved with 72% in favor, will create a better, more secure future for Kroger workers and their families.
“This contract is a victory for all of our South Bend area Kroger members,” said Bartak. “Thank you to the bargaining committee and all our members whose support made this possible.”
