Your UFCW Local 700 Negotiating Committee met with Kroger representatives to continue bargaining for the Indianapolis contract, which covers more than 8,000 workers at 68 stores in Central Indiana.
The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) was present again for today’s session. The Negotiating Committee and company representatives continued to discuss and evaluate proposals and are working to reach a new agreement.
The Union and company have agreed to an additional 30-day contract extension through July 15. Employees continue working under the current terms and conditions of the contract.
The parties are scheduled to meet again on Thursday, June 30; FMCS will also be assisting in those negotiations.
Should you have any questions or desire further information, please contact your Union Representative.
