After last week’s contract rejection, UFCW Local 700 is returning to the bargaining table with Kroger. Our next bargaining session is scheduled for Friday, July 25. When we return to the table, your bargaining committee will be focused on securing stronger wage increases and retroactive pay effective at ratification. We know how important these issues are to you, and we are committed to pushing for real improvements that reflect your hard work and dedication. This is an important decision. This is your contract, and your vote will decide if it’s good enough.
In the meantime, I will personally be in the stores over the week along with your union representatives. We’ll be checking in with members, answering questions, and gathering additional feedback as we prepare for the next bargaining session. Thank you for your continued strength and solidarity.
